Eye test
An eye test in most Boots Opticians is only £20, although many people are entitled to a free eye test from the NHS. If you are over 60 or under 19 and in full time education, or if you visit one of our practices in Scotland, you will be entitled to a free eye test at Boots Opticians. Speak to a member of staff for further information.

Retinal photograph
For an additional charge of only £10 we have an advanced new way to check the health of your eyes. Taking a digital photo of your retina lets us check for many conditions that could affect your eyes, and gives us a permanent record, so next time you visit we can compare the images to see how your eyes have changed. This service is available in 100 stores nationwide. Check with your local branch for availibility.

Lenses
At Boots Opticians all our Boots brand glasses prices include the frame and single vision lenses, therefore if you only have a simple prescription the price you see is the price you will pay.

The price you see on all designer glasses is the price of the frame.  Prices for the lens options are available in store.

If you need to improve your vision for both near and far distances, or you simply want to improve the look and feel of your glasses, there are additional options available. If you require further information contact your local store and talk to a member of staff.
